SC-7 "Amapa" Advanced Stealth Cruiser

SC-7 "Amapa" Advanced Stealth Cruiser R1BPI

    - TRANSMISSION START -

    Lore:
The SC-7 is the result of a long period of research and development culminating into one of the most advanced, most powerful, most comfortable stealth vessels available to the public today. It is faster than the Cuttlefish, it has a jump drive that charges more quickly than the Needlepoint, and it outmatches the Sepiada in terms of comfort and ergonomics. What's more, great care has been taken to make sure it's not an eyesore - after all, cloaking doesn't mean that you shouldn't have style. In addition, it has a light armament of two lock-on missiles - perfect for taking out an enemy faction leader or just harassing some pirates.
Of course, there'll be that one annoying sentinel that just manages to slip a shot at you within those few seconds that you are decloaked - and you'll be prepared for that, too. The Amapa has 10k shields, recharging at a rate of 350 per second. Its jump drive is incredible, boasting a 2.58 ratio. While it isn't stable (it produces a net power drain), it'll charge before you run out of power.

    Behind the Name:
Well, I'm embarrassed with this one. The scientific name for the Australian Giant Cuttlefish is Sepia Apama, and this is a misspelling. Still, I like it.

    Author's Note:
When I originally saw Dalmont's SFW Vale, I loved it. It proved that permacloakers could not only look good, but perform excellently. My interest became an obsession - the obsession with making the single most powerful cloaker I could, and I've gotten very close. The Amapa is by far the best I've ever made, and I think it ranks pretty far up there in the list of cloaking ships. Enjoy, everyone!
