    Rendii Utility Corvette 2014-11-09

After the Exodus, the Rendii empire's population was even further reduced, and crew requirements for the old MK I utility ships began to show the strain. The Answer presented was the MK II Utility corvette.

Designed to replace the older frigate sized ships for most applications, the corvette utilizes some of the most advanced computing hardware in the fleet.

State of the art engine control, stealth systems, and long range sensors permit this primary mining corvette to also serve as a long-range scout.

The ship was designed around the same size ore container as the old mining ships, but is no longer able to swap containers freely. It must dock to unload materials.

The main requirement was, however, met. The ship functions quite well with a two or three man crew, and is able to dock at all Rendii empire capital ship corvette or fighters launch bays. (barely)

    Features include:
    •Adequate mining array
•Quad repair beam system with integrated camera
•Quad grav-beam system designed to hold objects
    •Four sector scan range
    •Full Jamming capability
    •Engine cutoff control

Me likes :) Same issue with power as all ships which use salvage beams i guess :) nice detail on the hull. a bit to cramped inside for my taste. maybe just one room would have been nicer... But really neat ship

Yea, salvage beams are now power hogs. I suspect that schema did this to reduce the number of planet eaters, an action I heartily approve of.
Sorry for the cramped quarters. Recommended for crews that are REALLY friendly with each-other.
