The SMC or Senrai Mining Consortium is a faction consisting of 138 families organized into "Houses" and are a principal producer and miner of materials for the trade guild. They jealously guard their own territory while mining and all of their ships are practically relics. Each ship is constantly repaired, refit and put back out on the front lines.
