    Pyro GTX mk10 Corvette (Descent 2) 1.1

    This is the ship from the classical PC game Descent. It was originally designed as an underground mine clearing ship so it was much smaller (about the size of a car) This ship is about 8 times larger and falls under the Corvette class of ship.

    Weapons loadout:
    Like in the original game, it features Quad Lasers (rapidfire AMCs +O/D) as it's primary weapon. It's great for tearing down shields, and all around fighting.

    I also included what is essentially a nuke (Missiles + Damage Pulse+ Explosive effect). It is designed with a single computer but fires 2 separate missiles. The power output is only enough for 1 missile at a time, which turns out to be a good thing. So long as you don't have ION effect The power regenerates near instantly, so you can fire the second missile right away if needed. Beware though, there will be nothing left of smaller ships.

    For general fighting, I added a complex array of heat-seeking swarm missiles with Explosive effect. They will tear down large numbers of small ships fairly quickly when combined with your Quad lasers.

    And my favorite: the AMPP. (Anti-Matter precision penetration)
    (multiple individual stacked AMC blocks+Pulse+Punch through)
    Designed to work like a sabot round, it will punch a hole about 3 blocks wide all the way through most similarly sized ships. It's great for 1-shotting cores after the shields are down. It makes for an excellent enemy -capturing weapon, causing minimal collateral damage to enemy ships. It is offset quite a bit from the cockpit, so I installed an aiming camera to get more accurate shots. it's also better if the target isn't moving much, as that will reduce penetration a bit.

    Warp Ready with Type 5 Jump drive ( type 5 meaning 5:10 ratio of blocks to blocks needed. 1:1=type 10 )

    2.7 thrust to mass ratio

    Ship also boasts 21k Shielding with ION effect optional.

    Uncouple the overdrive from the main weapons for a 100% speed boost.

    Stylized cockpit. weapons computers are particularly vulnerable compared to the core. I use this as an early warning system. When the computers are taken out, I need to escape anyway because they are not far off from the core.

    Easily dispatches pirates and pirate stations.

    Room for turrets, though not included to be true to original. I did however expand the ship slightly between the cockpit and thrusters to create a little added and much need extra space for some important systems.
