update, may 2015: i will probably not be updating this resource futher now that the in-game textures are nicer than they were. i might, though, we'll see. =)
this texture replaces the map icons used for the galaxy map, including:
- stars and large stars
- planets
- wormholes
- stations and shops
- the player's ship
it also alters the colors stars appear on the map to better distinguish them from one another and better match what's seen in-game.
because of the high number of these textures that may need to be displayed on a computer at a given time, it is recommended that these textures only be used on higher-end systems!
