This is the ONS-Eros class Missile Frigate. The first iteration of this ship was a continuation of my original, fire every kind of weapon possible, noob ship. That first ship didn't have an interior, basic hull, and two turrets. This design however, is a complete overhaul of that concept. This ship is intended to being a long range bombardment platform, or support vessel, for supplementing the firing capability of the main fleet, or high orbital bombardment. The range of both of the missile arrays, is just over 3100m's, which leaves it safe to destroy standard pirate outposts, without threat of return fire.
Room List
1 Core/computer room
1 Crew Quarters
2 Transporter Pads
The interior is bare bones, due to the intense demands of the main missile arrays. Much of the interior consists of power systems, shields, and engines. The design itself is a break of the earlier designs, as I wanted to give the hull a sense, and feel, like it was sporting a very powerful, and dangerous cannon. I didn't have any role play intentions with this design, as I wanted to leave the ship compact, and give more emphasis on the weapon systems. The missile arrays do have the piercing effect, which should give it a little bit more punch, and devastation, to your targets. It also has 8 Mark 4 dual point defense turrets, which can also be found on the Oceanus, Athena, and both Aries variants.

With the relatively slow speed, and low shield defenses, it is recommended that this ship is used at long ranges. It can also be paired up with a command ship, to bolster its fighting capability, or used as a strike craft to bombard an enemy fortification, once the main force is engaged with your adversaries capital fleet. This ship unfortunately, does not carry any sort of sensor array, which leaves it dependent on other vessels of the fleet, to scan systems and sectors instead.
