In 2018, The United States government started Project Odin, A plan to convert Various USAF and USN Aircraft and USN Ships to Spacecraft. The project was started to counteract the growing Russian Space Navy. The vehicles used were from The Cold War and later.
In 2025 Project Sleipnir and Project Loki was begun, to research Wormhole Jump Drives, and Cloaking devices, respectively. The Sleipnir concluded in 2030 and Loki in 2027 with successful prototypes.
Coinciding on the day of Sleipnir's release date, the Ohio class submarine was converted to a ballistic missile spacecraft with the prototype jump drive and cloaker installed. The ship is designed to hit strategic targets using 24 powerful Nuclear Missile launchers and 4 explosive unguided torpedo launchers, and then cloak and hide away. It has Light Shields to protect it from attacks while its Cloaker recharges.
