The Omega fleet is a defense force consisted of the best of the best of the best pilots, piloting some of the best ships the fleet has ever produced. The Trading Guild will often hire a squad for dangerous escort missions.
to maximize efficiency, the Omega Fleet will create variants of their existing starship lineup.
the blue colored variant are the most standard Armada class starfighters
while the orange variant carry mounted homing missiles
The Omega Fleet is self sustaining, which means they themselves provide the resources needed to build their starfighters. their most efficient is the Harvest class salvage freighter, powerful salvage beams can quickly mine an asteroid field, and the cargo hold on the back can hold an abundance of resources.
The Omega Fleet isn't completely made of starfighters. this Armada class Assault Freighter is a modified salvage freighter, with damage beams, and heavy pulse missiles replacing the cargo hold.
while the freighters are quick, and powerful, their hull structure is significantly weak in order to travel long distance via jump drive. because of this, they are often escorted with fighters.
since the Omega Fleet is more military based, both variants of Starfighters are well protected with advanced hull, two pilots, one for flight and forward offensive, the other for turret control and shield performance.
all starfighters and freighters in this set are equipped with jump drives, to best arrive in a sector when they are needed.
