you have a ready cool basic shape and concept for this ship. to take this ship from "it works as intended" to "awesome" all you need to do is add color and details. try to keep it balanced so no part of the ship looks forgotten. blank areas are ok as long as it looks intentional. you also should add more details thrusters.
