The Talon class fighter-bomber is the principle attack fighter of the LSPC fleet. Unlike its smaller cousin the talon was designed to fulfill a multitude of task and missions without compromising efficiency. Boasting over 120,000 shields, quad rapid fire cannon array and a dual swarm missile system, the Talon has enough fire power to strike targets much larger than itself. It’s well shielded and armored but still retains the capacity to reach speeds up to 280 m/s well suited for strafing missions. Despite its size it was made for carrier duties, being modular and easily dock-able in small spaces. The fighter is well suited for a variety of mission including, air-superiority, escort missions, patrolling, alpha striking, light bombing missions, interceptions, strafing targets, and hit and strike missions.
