LSPC Sparrow hawk Heavy bomber
“The teeth of the carriers”
The Sparrowhawk represents the pinnacle of the LSPC navy’s bomber force and the primary anti-capital ship fighter craft of its carriers. The Sparrowhawk had been designed from the ground up as a dedicated Carrier based heavy bomber as such unnecessary antennas or winggy bits had been trimmed down for a thicker more compact form to allow for easy docking within limited carrier space. Despite these designer changes to the typical ship formula, the bomber certainly does not skimp out on firepower and survivability. The heavy bomber battle tactics are to function in squadrons of 5 and target single capital ships at a distance, equipped with a long-range sniper ion cannon the bomber squadron concentrates their fire and sheer away the enemy’s shields then close in for an alpha strike. Also, equipped with a quad firing rapid-fire missile batteries the enemy ships are left helpless as the heavy bomber’s crater it’s haul with barrages of missiles. While the shields remain depleted through the ion cannons and its haul devastated by rocket fire there is little that the enemy ship can do as the Sparrowhawk being so small and agile, quickly outmaneuver the larger lumbering capital ship. In all the Sparrowhawk is a formidable craft and ideally suited for a multitude of roles that would ensure the devastation of whatever enemy you face.
