G2L2 Turret pack
“ A turret for any job” small versatile turret that can pack a punch
The turrets of the LSPC Navy are organized into three classifications (light, medium, heavy) that are subdivided into three weapon types ( cannon, beam , missile) that are also each subdivided into three turret levels ( level 1, level 2, level 3). The Generation 2 light level 2 turrets represent the second tier of light turrets and are thus more robust and powerful, unlike the smaller G2L1 turrets that were more purpose made for very small ships the G2L2s are intended to fulfill the light turret role for most other ships of the LSPC fleet. Light turrets are intended to clear the skies of fighter swarms or of other light targets like drones and corvettes a task that the L2s can do magnificently. Coming in three variants of cannon (cannon, cannon, overdrive) beam ( beam, cannon, overdrive) and missile ( missile, missile, explosive effect) the turrets are very versatile that can be combined into batteries of fire creating a diverse range of attacks that may be very difficult for enemy defenses systems to compensate.
As a purpose-built AA defense, it is not suited for chewing through thick advanced armor hulls of other capital ships but instead has a very high arch of fire and very rapid fire weapons systems that are ideal to counter small attack craft. Ships in the LSPC navy that are equipped with batteries of these turrets have experienced near invulnerability to drone swarms leaving nothing but a trail of derbies and hulks in their wake. The turret pack now available consists of all three types of the G2L2 turrets in 10 different color schemes that can now be easily added to virtually any ship capable of handling such fire power.
A relatively high acre of fire allows the G2L2 near all round fire control.
