The LSPC Equium class is the most common and versatile corvette found patrolling the distant reaches of LSPC space. Corvettes within the LSPC fleet are typically small but well-armed ships relaying on their fast speed to outmaneuver enemy targets and often specialized in one or two roles. The Equium exemplifies this rule reaching speeds of over 235 m/s and capable to match even fighter sized craft in maneuverability and speed but yet retaining enough fire power to decimate whole squadrons. This corvette is multi-purpose but is very well capable in counter missile tactics. Despite its small frame the corvette is equipped with six G2 Anti-missile turrets making it the first line of defense against enemy missile swarms. Being a corvette the Equime is also a capable anti-fighter craft its main armament consists of twine rapid fire punch through effect cannons and can deal over 5000 dps ,along with its two G2 L1 light defense cannons allows for multi-targeting and quick death for most pirate craft. The Equium’s capabilities makes it well suited for anti-missile countermeasures, interception, long distance exploration, escort missions, strafing, anti-fighter capacity and is warp capable making it an ideal patrol craft.
