LSD Kabuto

    LSD Kabuto Rhino Edition

    This latest edition features newly redesigned exterior, improved thrust, engines, weaponry and a brand new front page!
    Finally I have the chance to release the updated versions of the Ju Ga mk4, Kabuto mk4, Kuwaga mk4, Locust, Cicada mk3(mk2 was setup but then a previous update nerfed it so I'm skipping it for now..) as well adding to the list the new Gryllos. These have all been updated to the latest version of the game and each features several improvements in particular areas as noted individually.

    The new mk4 Kabuto is slightly cheaper than it's predecessor. However there is no loss of dps here, in fact, every weapon system on the new mk4 is approximately 50% stronger than the mk3. Some shielding was skipped out on to do so, and there are no longer any explosive effects on here, however it's still a lean mean killin' machine. :D
    Due to the new ratios of weapons I went ahead and redid a substantial portion of the Kabuto Drone. It's power systems got updated, additional shields were added, weapons were moved and improved. All in all a great update for the Kabuto line of Heavy Drones. Stats as follows;

    • Mass(Thrust) : 68.4(38.3) - same
    • Power(Regen) : 103463.5(8732.2) 194505(7835.5)
    • Shields(Regen) :10436(71) 7536(66)
    • Beams : 2880 damage every 10 seconds
    • Missiles : 7200 per missile x 2 Systems = 14400 damage every 90 seconds
    • Cost: 151024 ea.
    The alpha damage on the missiles is greatly improved over the previous additions because I added more missiles & used pulse instead of beam slaves. They still use the shoulder launch system as before but the extra explosive effect means these bad boys will pack one hell of a punch should any shields in the way be taken down. The beams are no slouch either, while the alpha is still <3000 the damage is mostly up front within a .2 second time frame.

    This all comes at a price however, as the ship is considerably more expensive and less shielded than before. However the damage output is worth the increased cost IMO.
