KDI Beluga Light Miner-Freighter

    KDI Beluga Light Miner-Freighter 1.0

Greetings, Napther here with my first post to this Community Content doo-dad.

Been playing for 2 years now, and have... rather slowly, learned the game and all the mechanics I need to know to create effective ships, and adopting the manufacturer tag KDI ("Kaiju Design Initiative")

Without further ado, This version of the KDI Beluga is a "light" freighter-miner.

While I do consider it a freighter/miner, this ship IS armed and power stable under AI control. Its cannons are not set central with any particular viewpoint, however, AI do not care for this and will fire perfectly fine. You may notice it has a Gun emplacement on top as well. This is a 600k damage Shield beam to supplement the cannons, balanced to have similar range to a cannon.

Its been designed to not be TERRIBLY expensive to spawn and otherwise reproduce, thus why the internals are all grey/dark grey hulls with a standard armour flooring

Its not been built with a Universal Docking in place, but can be easily modified to take it on its airlocks if you so wish.
The Salvage array is "only" 41 by 10, but the depth is maxing the salvage power for vanilla servers at 100 long. When a server isnt under load, Blocks will evaporate under its salvage beams.

I shall be using these in the Fleet Update as a standard, Mid-Tier salvager or act as a hub to several small drone miners with limited cargo.
Its also equipped with a 350-strong Chain Drive jump computer set-up.
Also isnt completely filled up, leaving you with some customisation options such as heavier shields, Ion shielding, Overdrive, etc

(Normally I'd ram a huge turret on these things, hence an excess of rail mass enhancers inside the ship... No hate plz.)

(EDIT: Images really hate working here, dont they?...)

Hi ! I like the building style. Some "mistakes" here and there (purple lights and too many colors. 3 colors is usually enough but thats only me.) I'll try it.
Its ass is just beautifull imo. Engines are top.
