Concerning the derelict out of the outlands cluster
As we all know, the outlands cluster of systems has seemingly been cut off from the rest of galactic society for the past dozen generations. Craft that are dispatched never return, neighboring systems have even reported that the very light of the cluster no longer reaches them, and their gravitational profile is absent.
Which is why it is odd that this ship's logs show that it is from there. It appears to be some sort of prototype vessel. The interior layout is disjointed and seemingly random. The weapons look poorly designed and constructed, the ships reactors are inefficient, the engines all appear to have been slapped on as an afterthought, and there doesn't seem to be any sort of functional shield system whatsoever.
On ship records indicate it is an "IronHead" class frigate.
