IF Fall

    IF Fall 1.0

The International Fleet Fall, also known as The Fall to her crew, is part of a black ops division of the IF, designed to infiltrate formations and kill larger targets, then retreat quickly. The Fall was once known as the USS Farseer, before her final captain betrayed the Fleet and defected to the enemy. Upon recovery, she was rechristened the Fall, a living symbol of the First Invasion.

Interesting fact: The Fall's original design was funded through Kickstarter. The masses wanted a Star Trek design flying above their cities. A similar, also successful Kickstarter was undertaken for a Star Destroyer - unfortunately, the public did not take too well to a symbol of evil looming in orbit, and the ship was moved to the outlying sectors.

Good design, but: turrets are in awkward positions, weapon computers are hidden (not good), instead of double missile try missile/damage beam for lock on missiles. Also always provide cannons to the main ship, as I feel a ship this size has no need of turrets, it has high mobility so they are really not needed. Lighting is also a bit overwhelming inside (too colorful). The cloak is not very useful: it consumes a lot of power, lasts 5 seconds (according to desc.) For an improvement try reducing the number of turrets to 2 or 3 if you feel they are really needed, turn the damage beams into a high rate of fire cannon. Also fill your hull completely, try adding Ion for shields. Overdrive is nice as always. Jamming is also useless with a ship that size as well. Overall, you have a nice ship but it needs optimization in weapons, turrets, and internal systems.

Thanks for the review! To address some of your concerns:
I usually leave some empty space to leave room for customization on the customer's end. I went overboard on the turrets because they are meant to scare more than actually hurt. It is a star trek ship, after all.
I chose sniper beams because I wanted a high alpha damage, medium DPS option. The cloak is less of a viable option and more of an act of desperation, but the option is there.

Jamming is easy to do on ships of any size above 100 mass, so I usually go overboard on power to make it happen.

Thanks for taking the time to write a detailed review - few do.
