    I wanted to finaly get a brief look at the new weapon system and gave some old fighters an quick update while I was at it.

    Consindering that values and features for the new systems aren't finalized I likely need to tweak the fighters again some time soon.
    Since they are somewhat RP related, I'm also trying to balance them with other creations of mine.


    The Harpyie was a small one person ship, the Dominion deployed to protect it's outposts and colonies. The ship was capable to operate and land on athmospheric planets.

    It had dual plasma cannons that were used to harras targets with weak defencive systems.
    As main weapon againsed larger targets the Harpyie had been loaded with missiles.

    This redesign of the aging Harpyie was meant to squeeze a high potential of destruction into small size.

    Her main weapons were again the missiles. These were capable of destroying large chunks of internal systems, but wouldn't do well
    against improving armor technologies. In order to make use of them the pilots have to get very close to their target and aim at allready existing weakpoints and holes in the armor.

    The plasma cannons of it's predecessor got replaced by particle beams, that could create holes in small layers of armor, although the ship actually meant to wait for the target to be weakend by larger ships.

    As the Dominion entered a period of relative peace after the Amphibos War, the Harpyie II, much like most other Dominion fighters in this era, did not see much action.
