I should note that a V6 is coming out soon which I made some minor improvements to the ship (such as fixing the bathroom as I noticed that symmetry screwed up the toilets xD ) AND I made the ship more compatible with the awesome GUI texturepack LCARS by Blakubus.
So I realized that the nacelles of the last version looked absolutely awful; so I decided to redo them! I also have changed many of the ship systems, including locking missiles and a small atmospheric shuttle-pod!
The ship itself is a small scout designed to carry on a few crew members on long range scouting missions. Equipped with a deflector dish and basic shields for the late 22nd century, the vessel definitely puts up a real fight against aggressors, and is nearly invisible in a fight against Isanths.
It also has a Science and Medical Bay for both healing those wounded in the field; and studying stolen or confiscated goods/technology.
However, I should warn that it is advisable that if the shields drop and you are dealing with missiles... run. This ship is very vulnerable to missiles, as the ship systems are tightly bound within the small hull. Along with its one block thick standard armor plating, missiles can wreck some serious havok if caution is not used.
Also on the bridge there is a RED ALERT system! It can be activated at the Tactical Console, where there is two buttons and an activation block. This is the setup for the buttons in a nice text example:
