After the 3rd Great War Beta Centauri was almost completely destroyed and Alpha Centauri was pretty destroyed too.
In all that chaos people needed to deflect themselves with something.
This lead to the invention to some interesting kinds of sports. One of it was the so called Stellar Racing Association.
This organization pulled many small racing groups together to make it into one big racing series. This series became known under unofficial name Death Racing Series although the SRA never gave it's main series a proper name.
Why it was named like that...well the only rules were no shields and no shooting weapons mouted to the ''car'' everything else was allowed.
This lead to very dramatic and extreme racing often ending in some ugly situations...
This one here belonged to a driver called Intimidator his or her origin and fate remains unknown but the impact on the series this person has had was astounding with 29 wins from 40 races in one season 125 carrer wins and 9 championships Intimidator was one of the most successful racers out there.
