Game version: v0.199.654a

This is one of about 40 space to air fighters the Union possesed around the first Great War.

It only featured some homing-missiles and a standard cannon. Some refitted versions had a small jump module installed and some shields.

The T40 maybe wasn't strong but reliable and simple enough to be "mass" produced. Keeping in mind that the Union was serverely hurt after the first Great War which devastated the former home planet Centauri Alpha.

I really enjoyed fighting against the ship. The ship could use some combat improvements with a slightly larger armament and a shield recharge. I also had some problems with getting to the core from the top hatch since it is the same button to get into the core as it is to open and close the hatch.

Thanks for the review. I totally agree with the whacky hatch part. I will find a better solution in the future.

The rest is meant to be that way in order to fit in with my other realistic designs (CU Cruiser, Victory I and the CU Tactical Battleship)

I would recommend you to look into one of my older ships called Interceptor T2. Maybe not as agile but with stronger weapons and shields. It only needs a new turrett.
