RE: New vessel - Dauntless II-class Blockade Runner
A light cargo vessel built with speed in mind, the Dauntless II (inspired by the original Dauntless and it's original purpose) is a fast and highly manueverable small vessel.
With two large, spacious cargo bays and eight non-detachable cargo pods (four on top, four on bottom), there's plenty of room for all of your valuable cargo.
Just because it's a cargo vessel, doesn't mean there's a shortage of defences! The Dauntless II comes equipped with 150,000 shield capacity as well as two light beam turrets and eight TRT X2 point-defence turrets to deal with pesky missiles! Includes logic running formation lights too, for added realism.
And this is why it's a Blockade Runner - the ship also comes equipped with 89% Overdrive passive, enabling the Dauntless II to overcome speed limits and outrun blockading vessels with ease!
