CR-Varnagar

    CR-Varnagar Mk-3

    This is my second warship I've ever managed to get completed and it is a compromise solution between my cruiser and dreadnought design plans. This ship was designed under the influence of the game "R-Type Command" and the primary goal was to find a design that is somehow versatile and fairly well armed for its size. Therefore this cruiser is expensive and has very limited indoor areas, which are balanced by its greatly improved combat performance compared to it's peers.


    Primary weapons
    - 2 damage beam weapons equiped with ion effect and supported by pulse weapon system
    - 1 dumb missile system with fast rate of fire and explosive effect (does at least 9 blocks wide craters on armored surfaces and may damage other objects/ turrets/spaceships within 20 blocks range).

    Turrets
    - 6 light turrets with blue rapid fire lasers and piercing effect.
    - 5 medium turrets with improved and dual mounted blue lasers with relatively fast reload system and punch-through effect.
    - 2 medium turrets with long range damage beams with overdrive effect.

    Docked vessels

    - 1 small shuttle for transportation and repairs. It includes perma-jamming system also (blue vessel in the image bellow).
    - 4 small BOBBY AI drones with two blue lasers and equiped with fast reload- and piercing effect systems (black craft in the image bellow).


    CR-Varnagar's other characteristics (NOTE: precise values may vary between game updates a lot!)

    - around 1 million units of shields (as of v0.1583)
    - 3,4 million of power recharge
    - 76,2 million of power storage
    - thrust power in v0.1583 was little less than half of the ship's mass
    - 445,8k blocks
    - 234m long, 71m high, 75m wide
    - turning speed of 1.1 on all axis expect on Z-Axis, which is 1.0
    - two rooms and one indoor hangar
    - has some logic circuitry on board (you can switch off the lights and close the engine shafts by clicking a general activation block as seen bellow)

    You could try pressing up and down cursors while being inside the Varnagar's core as it should change your location between all onboard turret cores (if I remeber right, it includes also docked crafts).
