~~~~~A Well Structured Review Follows~~~~~~
(-.5) The exterior of the ship is heavily detailed both on its interior and exterior with details crammed into almost every space imaginable with enough nobbly bits to die happy after seeing them all. In saying that there are some areas that should be reworked to better fit the ship in my opinion. A*. B* C*
(+.5) The color scheme of the ship fits the ship and remains constant both on the interior and exterior with no large areas where the color is not broken up. D*.
(+.5) Overall concept of a drop ship is met on all fronts with superb execution. The incredible attention to detail coupled with an amazing sense of structure by the builder gives the ship a realistic and presentable execution.
With the recent updates to the game I’ve decided to review the logic on ships as well. This rating will be based on execution, detail, style, and useability..
(+.5) The logic on this ship sets a new standard for both the quality and quantity of any ships of this size. The ship itself has over five relatively large logic circuits/contraptions that fit very will with the ship and cause no excessive loss in functionality.
(-.5) Some logic on the ship although designed and implemented very well do not quite meet the standards they could have with a little more time put into them. E*
(+1) The interior on the ship Is relatively large in comparison to the size of the ship and has all the necessary details one would expect from a drop ship and even some you wouldn't. *F
(+1) both the weapons systems and the actual systems themselves are very well balanced with enough thrust to easily take off and land on planets with relative ease. In saying that the outputs for the cannons could be reworked to add extra UMMPH to the exterior. *G
A*: Due to the fact that the ship has a very small amount of viewing area below the horizon it makes it especially hard to land/dock the ship. To fix this I recommend adding a camera facing down on the bottom of the ship.
B*: Although the top of the ship has very high level of detail the same is not the case for the bottom of the ship. The bottom of the ship looks rushed compared to the rest of the ship. To fix this I would recommend making the indents on the bottom extrude (this would allow for more systems) or rework them entirely.
C*: The wedging on the engine pods is a neat touch but could be done better to improve the shape of the engines. To fix this I would extend the Grey wedging on the sides out one block towards the front of the ship.
D*:The detailing on the engines is excellent in itself but the scorch marks themselves should be toned down or reworked some. I would recommend keeping the hull how it is but removing the Grey blocks that are surrounded by the scorch marks and instead damage the hull a little bit to make parts look darker.
E*: Although I love the amount of logic on the ship I find it odd that the engine pods can't rotate to be fully horizontal. I'm not much of a logic expert so I don't know how to fix this, sorry.
F*: I would recommend adding a display panel to the interior of the ship with some random lore on it.
G*: I recommend adding a blue light pole to the outputs of the cannons.
In conclusion: the ship is an amazing work of art with some small things holding it back.
Final rating 9/10
