Babel 6 Space Station

    Babel 6 Space Station 1.19522.2

An additional module, a prototype for a new, modular partial-octogon quarter-segment, designed to be placed on a rotating ring has been added as a static fixture on the rear of the top pylon/spire structure, adding additional astronaut space, primarily for social interaction. The segment has its own 5x5x5 teleport, a rather spacious dance hall, as well as a pair of "hotel" modular rooms and a pair of "cafe" modular rooms, set on the opposite side of the module from the dancehall, for better privacy and sound reduction. New "never-stain" luxury carpeting has been added to the ramps and upper-level walkway to insure that visitors feel appreciated.

The main parts of the station were also enhanced. Inside each of the spires is a recessed advertising billboard. Also, plating was placed around the airlock shuttle bays and adjacent industrial rooms, which contain the station's shop, storage lockers, and small factory column. Plating was placed on top and bottom of the central support struts, leading to a new thermal exhaust system at the back of the station. Furthermore, a few additional mass-enhancer blocks were added to the core structure, and the internal-docking ring area just behind the open boarding pathway has been slowed down with a rail speed enhancer, set to 1/4 speed. Now pilots should have an easier time docking and departing, while passengers should experience less motion sickness.
