The Ambriel is intended to be used in missions of unknown circumstances.
She has severel missiles that can be easily slaved together, two torpedo turrets (Missile x Beam) the fleet's first implementation of rapid firing disruptor cannons (cannon x cannon x overdrive) wich are themselves are a relative new addition.
She also hosts pretty strong sensors for her size, Radar jammer and a small deflector (ion effect).
She has some room, wich allows the ship support the pilot for several days together with her own warp drive, making her the smallest warp capable ship in the Outcast's fleet.
(A bit slow for a fighter, but one can't get everything)
Since warp drives are not exactly cheap fleet command also ordered a version that passes on interstellar travel. But in exchange the lighter version performs a little better in battle.
