I always found it weird how the sun has a different flare while in space compared to the one you see from a planet's surface, so I applied a small change that removes this (in my eyes) annoying flare.
It makes a big difference though in how the central star looks/feels, as you can see on the screenshot below:
And this one below was just very cool:
For me personally, this is a much more pleasant thing to look at.
Installation:
Download the .zip and put the image that's within it in the following folder: (Your Starmade folder)/data/image-resource/
If you did it right, it should ask you to replace the file, where you would press yes.
Compatible with any Starmade version so far.
I might make some more star textures later on and revive a few older ones that I had made in the past.
