when i press left control to enter advanced build, all of the blocks dissapear

If I restart the game they come back, but once I press left control again, they all vanish. The arrow showing which direction the block is facing is still there, and you can delete blocks, but you cannot see them.

If you are close to big structures, or planets, try moving farther away. Your GPU is having issues rendering everything and is cuiling the blocks.

But the only things even in the same sector are my ship (which is only like 7x7x14) and a nearby shop. I thought I had fixed it, but it seems like it\'s still happening

I have an intel HD graphics card with fully updated drivers. I\'ve only been experiencing this problem since I visited a planet after about two updates ago. Before that everything was fine.
