Weird glitch/bug

I have win 8 (intel) When I load the game, press the windows button it exits the game, how do I make it not exit the game when I hit the windows button?

use F2 to free the cursor and click the windows icon instead of pressing the windows button?

Whenever I press the windows button or check my email or something the game crashes and says it's jvm, why.
