Waypoints won't work

When I type the name of the waypoint my controls are still enabled, and when I click "OK", it won't create the new waypoint!

The waypoints are for navigating through sectors, not to set one. type something like 1,1,1 in to the textfield and it will show you what sectors you need to move through to get there.hope this helps clear up some confusion

Waypoints aren\'t really waypoints. It\'s just a GPS navigation system. You type in where you want to go and it shows you the way. You can\'t mark a system for later viewing. You have to remember all those numbers yourself.
