Warp core Alternative/ Hypernet

I belive that Starmade would too esaly fall into the trap of simplafacation in this block unavers when it comes to Warp cores. When it comes to imershon into a game having a clean but long rought to getting something that will change the way you play the game. An effective alternative to Warp cores would be a Jump Gate (Hypernet from the Lost Fleet Books) this would force the player to ether build their oun or perchus at a store and would prevent travel colishons and a cheaty way to telaport into another fractions taratory. The jump gates could be tetherd to stores or suns and would creat conflects over control over a gate wich could be attaked and deffended with turets or players in battles. It could also be useful when exploring the univers, they could act like chek points when you add it to your net. As well you could use this as a way for story line. not only that but having pirets attaking and staking a clame on a gate so that you can battle for new ones and creat points of conflect and intrest.
