It seems very useful to have a voice chat for starmade servers. By that I mean an inbuilt one.
You shoud be able to:
- Chat privately with a player prefferably across long distances
- Chat publicly but with a set limitation to not enable intergalactic voicechat spam
- Mute anyone so they can't hear you and you can't hear them. It could be done by clicking on the annoying player's name when pressing tab.
Inspired by the voicechat in garry's mod and the video by jerry and harry "what if minecraft had voicechat".
Cons
- Adds more data transfer between server and client
Pros
- Adds a great deal of role play to the game . If someone is being attacked he could cry in mercy :D Would add a new level of gameplay to servers.
