Unplayable lag while shooting linked AMCs

Hello,

Linked anti-matter cannons cause frequent 'mini-freezes' between bursts:


Tried dialing down the graphics options but no luck. My pc specs are above average as you can see in the attachment (not mentioned is the dual gtx 670 in sli).

This is during a single player game.

Try turning off your sound that's what worked for me and I have a top of the line gaming PC
