Unable to even try to launch

I've downloaded the game manually because I can't update it with the launcher. "Downloaded mirror didn't match the checksum give from star-made.org." Is the error message I get, but it doesn't even realize that I downloaded the game manually. I don't know what's going on, and I've tried the "run launcher as administrator" trick and that still didn't work. help???????
