Turret Docking Missle Issue

Okay, so for a while now I have been having the same problem over and over again and it is REALLY frustrating. Whenever I build an awesome ship with HeatSeeking missles, and other smaller ships in the Hangers or attached as turrets, the heatseekers do like circles around my ship and won't go after any other craft. Please help me!

Including your own ships and turrets. Best if used in a single ship alone, unfortunately.
