I have Windows 7 64 Bit and I have 16GB of RAM in my computer. I try to allocate more memory in the launcher and then I get "Error: Could not create the Java virutal machine. Error: A fatal exception has occured. The program will exit."

I was trying to set it to 4GB so i was putting in 4096. It would not work with 3gb or 2gb either. The only way I can get it to run is with 1GB.

The initial memory by default was set to 256MB and the early generation memory says 64.

Do I need to adjust the others for this to work? What am I missing??

    Thanks!

try 4048 as max. memory, 1024 as initial memory and 256 early generation memory.(I kept the memory/memory ratio)

It might also be, that your java version is 32 bit.

Now the game won\'t open past the launcher :( I did not get an error message though. It looks like I have the 32 bit version of Java. I got the 64 bit version and now I am able to launch the game with more memory.

    Thanks!!
