Welcome! I\'m Planr! How are you enjoying the game so far? If you have any questions or need help with something just PM me and i\'ll do my best to help :)

Please remember that StarMade is still in Alpha and it can be a bit unstable at times. Make sure to use the bug report tool in the game to report bugs to Schema.

While i\'m at it, here\'s some quick tips for multiplayer gameplay:

    • Join a faction. There\'s strength in numbers.
    • Don\'t build your ship at spawn when you start out. Very bad idea; players will grief you and destroy you very quickly. Fly out a ways to other shops in the universe (it\'s filled with them) and build your ship more safely there.
    • Harvesting is a good way to earn money. Don\'t go for asteroids, go for space stations. Their glass and hull are valuable resources and cash-crops.
    • Don\'t forget to defend yourself and stay alert at all times for other players! \'Stranger danger\' takes a creative twist on multiplayer! Or rather, a destructive one! Watch yourself out there!
    • Pirate Stations and Desert Planet Ruins have valuable resources in them on most servers. Be sure to raid these if you need some quick cash in your bank!

    Some tips in general:

    • Don\'t attack shops. If you linger around long enough at a shop after attacking it, you\'ll be attacked by defending Trading Guild ships.
    • The game has a nifty catalog system which you can use to save your ships. In the event of an emergency in-game where your ship is destroyed, you can always go and buy it back!
    • Pirate ships aren\'t that tough at first, but watch out! If you set the permissions in your ship blueprints (using the admin tab on the catalog menu) to be used by others and enemies, the game will use it for pirates too!
    • Remember to do the tutorial so you can learn the basics effectively!
    • If you ever lose your ship by accident on singleplayer, you can always use the \"/search shipname\" command to find it again!
    • Make use of admin commands when on singleplayer! They\'re there for your advantage. A full list of admin commands can be found here: http://star-made.org/content/admin-commands

    Some tips on building:

    • Always shield your ships. Hull damage can be a serious threat to your spaceship if you\'re not properly shielded from antimatter cannon attacks. Load up as many shields as you can without hurting your power load. The shield regen should be less than your power regen in order to work okay, generally.
    • Grouping blocks together (making the same of a kind touching each other) is essential for weapon, powertank and engine modules! There\'s a good link on that here: http://star-made.org/content/effects-grouping-elements-together
    • Power blocks work in interesting ways! They increase your recharge rate optimally when put in \"Box dimensions\". That is, if the shape you are making from your power blocks was to fit in a box. Make it so the box would have to be bigger (build outward more), and you\'ll get a really good regeneration that way! Some further help on box dimensioning in reactors can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r7Sfx_AiwY
    • Make use of the symmetry tools and Advanced Build Mode! Hit left ctrl and hold it down to use advanced build mode. Remember that you can set your symmetry planes, and then it\'s ok to let go of it and they will stay. The first three number tick boxes in Adv. build mode are used while holding down left ctrl to make bigger boxes of blocks at one time! They can really be a time saver when you get down to it!

Well I hope that helps! Again, welcome to StarMade! If you need any help, be sure to check these links below, or PM me if your question wasn\'t answered by these:
