Steam migration?

If/when Space Made comes out on Steam amd I have the non-Steam version purchases, will it be possible to get it on Steam for free? (Like with Prison Architect)

As far as we know, if you purchase it now, you will have it for free when the Steam version is out. As for the specifics, nothing is nailed down yet. And I am not a spokesperson for StarMade, the developers, or anyone in particular.
