Starmade Purchase Questions

Hi guys, a few questions.

When i purchase starmade on steam, will i be able to Play on it with my current Name (not the forum Name), i ask because in other games, i cant choose another Name only my steam Name.

Other question, can i link my forum account to the steam purchased game somehow, or do i need a seperate one?

The Steam version of Starmade is exactly the same as the non-steam version (other than Steam integration and ovelays that is). If you want to link your forum account to the steam version, the Registry will give you that option. You can still use your preferred usename if you want to continue using that, as the game is not locked to the Steam username in any way. If you change your username, you can just re-uplink it from within the game and it will work just as before.
