Starmade gives nullpointer upon loading

Edit: Fixed by installing the newest version of Java

After updating to 0.188 I get a "Nullpointerexception: Null" error on 93% loading
When I press retry it loads to 99%, gives a nullpointer more, and then goes to black screen.

Nullpointers will continue to come up on retry..

I have just updated my videocard AMD Radeon HD 7400M

I run windows 7
Java version 6 64bit, my game does not run on 7 or 8, for some reason.

Edit: Installed into a clean folder, but the same problem occurs.

Edit: Somehow, the launcher now works on java 8, which fixed the error!
Guess it's fixed then!
