so anyone know how to fix this? there isn't any blocks but its saying its wider than it is?

that is simply the current docking system
you need to change the dock
it's currently as wide as your ship is long not as long as your ship is.
But fear not! it will get fixed soon (they are working on it right now)
on another note, it seems that your core is in the front of your ship, this means that you will need to make the dock double the length, try to place the core in the middle of the ship instead. (will also get fixed with the new docking system)

The blue box is showing the dimensions of your ship once docked. i.e. that is the orientation your ship will be when docked. Its not really a bug as such that needs fixing, its more just how it works
