I would like to suggest making spacestations aattachible object. To best put it, a way to attach my space station to an astroid some how. Perhaps if i'm standing on the astroid when I make the base it would insantly attach it Or align the station to the same axis as the astroids blocks so I can build into it relatively seamlessly.

Using a ship core as the basis for your station, you can use plex doors to anchor onto the asteroid.

I believe that is also supposed to be possible to use a build block on an asteroid to modify it, even adding a faction block to claim it, but that feature seems to be bugged currently, hopefully it will be fixed soon.
