SocketException: invalid argument: connect

When trying to open the launcher I get a "Critical Error" saying
"SocketException: invalid argument: connect"

Also, in the actual launcher it says

"
CURRENT VERSION: v0.0; build undefined; LauncherVersion: 9. You already have the latest version
No instillation found in C:\Users\username\Downloads\starmade-build_20140615_210533\StarMade
"

UPDATE (FIXED 6/25/14)

1. I put the "StarMade-starter.exe" in
C:\Users\username\Downloads\starmade-build_20140615_210533\
2. I put the files that are extracted from the build I downloaded in a subfolder called "Starmade" in the same folder as the .exe
C:\Users\username\Downloads\starmade-build_20140615_210533\Starmade

Also, to fix the Critical error part I downgraded to Java 6
1. Uninstall all instances of java 7 in the control panel
2. go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/j...ownloads-javase6-419409.html#jdk-6u35-oth-JPR
3. download what ever version of "Java SE Runtime Environment 6u35" you need for your operating system

This was all probably me just being stupid and not following directions but I hope this helps someone!
