So many Planets

there are so many planets now with this update that the server runs laggy now more so then befor.

Reset your universe. It sounds like you are playing the game on the old type of universe, where sectors were naturally small and there were tons of planets spawned in a system naturally. This has been drastically changed in the latest updates. Instead of identical star systems, we now have unique star systems and entire galaxies to explore. Everything is much more spread out.

So yeah... Try resetting your universe

as planr above me said. when i opened my old un-reset universe i too had a bazillion planets within view and caused a hell of a lot of lag even on my reasonably decent system.

planets are a lot more spread out now in the new universes/galaxies.
