Single player mode

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times but I didn't see it on the first page here. If I want to play single-player, am I just supposed to point the launcher to localhost:4242? When I do this the StarMade Connector hangs on "connection to localhost:4242".

Also, is it possible to keep playing in single-player mode if you lose your internet connection?

u always have to have it set to single player mode, or u will wait forever. I can give a guess for single player mode offline, and i beleive the answer is yes. (never tried it, my desktop is always connected)
