Simple Turret Question

Was just wondering if I attach the bobby AI the the turret barrel OR to the base of the turret instead? This is of course for a turret that can rotate up/down as well as side to side.

The Bobby AI has to be on the same ship core with your weapon computers/modules.

Simple answer "the barrel".
Depending on the size of the turret the base might currently need some mass enhancers so it will turn well.
If you get a message that the speed of the turret is affected when entering the base of the turret keep adding mass enhancers.
They need power by the way, so adding some generators to the turret base is recommended..

Thanks. I am not too worried about power in my case. I am planning out some mobile, module weapon platforms. The platform itself will provide most if not all the power.
