I am currently building a ship. Using some black hull, however the shop has ran out of black hull. What do i do now???!

Singleplayer? /shop_infinite or go to creative

Multiplayer? Start producing some or find another shop

You can produce any of the blocks you need at a factory, just go salvaging for raw materials and refine everything in capsule refineries. You can also just go to more shops. With some exploration around your home system you'll find more than show on your map. I'm up to 15 or so shops in my home system and there's still a lot of it unexplored.
