Ship Factories

The way blueprints work is quite strange. Just appearing from nowhere. There should be "ship factories" all over the universe. These are basically very big hangars. Depending on size you can buy different ships. At a small ship factory you can only buy fighters. In giant factories you can buy infinitely sized ships. The ships should be also constructed block by block in the hangar. I got this idea from a previous thread.

There have been a lot of similar suggestions including a shipyard block. It all comes down to the fact that most people don't like that ships just poof into existence, but they also don't want to have to hand craft each ship. I hope that a nice method that compromises between the two gets put in some day.
