Ship disapering

So I had just finished a ship that took me 5 days to build and it had great sheilds and such so I went to fight a large group of pirates well somehow they out dps'd my sheilds and I left the game trying to figure out what to do well I went back in and poof no ship anywhere only the turrent's but they were in the same position as the were left so I think the ship is still there. Can anyone help me?

Try to recreate the ship with another core, give it the same name. If it\'s there, it will tell you an entity of that name already exists. If the core appears with the same name, unfortunately you\'ve lost it. The core may have been overheating when you logged out?
If you did this in single player, and if the entity exists, when you start the game, click the tools option at the top of the Connection Setup window and then View Index Database. Look for an entry which has the name of your ship, not one with MOB_ before it as that will be a pirate. The X, Y and Z entries will be the sector it\'s in.

Ok thanks I\'ll go do that right now and see how it goes and I know the core was not overheating as it had not been hit and also I was in single player for anyone else who sees the thread



Edit: I just looked in one of the tools for the database of ships in my universe and the ship does exist along with all of it\'s turents thank you so much now I just need to find it as I\'m not sure if it\'s in it\'s position I left it or if it zoomed of somewhere

No probs, glad it\'s still there . In that list it should also give you the sector it\'s in, then you just need to press N to get the navigation up, and target it in there, that should take you right to it.

or do /change_sector X Y Z and it will teleport you to that sector.
