Ship Core Placement

All I can say is, I really feel like it would be benneficial to be able to add a ship core to structures you've allready built. You could repurpose a space station to be a mobile super-fortress, and carry any ships you happen to allready have in the bays. Granted, ther'd need to be a way to prevent people from turning planets into giant ramming machines, but still, I think placing a ship core on a ready-made structure would be handy. On a side note, why is there a speed cap? Anyway, tell me what you think. I just really want a super-fortress made from a space-station.
